Plant 227 team-building event blesses Elkhart family

led by Production Manager Eric Story worked with Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County to make a newly-built home

Fifteen LCI Plant 227 employees volunteered six hours Saturday, July 19, to grow as a team and bless an Elkhart family of 10. The team led by Production Manager Eric Story worked with Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County to make a newly-built home highly energy efficient by applying foam installation to the exterior and framing the interior.

“The work your team did Saturday will keep this home affordable for the blended family that will live in it,” said Molly Prime, Habitat for Humanity Community Volunteer Coordinator. “They currently are overcrowded in a three-bedroom rental. This new home will make a big difference in their lives. It will provide ample room for their large family, needed stability and lower monthly payments!”

See attached document for more info on volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and contact Molly at 574-533-6109 (ext. 112) for additional details.
